| Experience the healing power of truly "getting away from it all" for six fabulous days in
Paris. Come solo, or with someone you really like - a friend, lover, sibling,
mate. Be part of a small, "dinner-party-size" group of people who share
something deeply personal - surviving breast cancer! You'll be guided by Anne
Block, cancer survivor in 2005, and founder of Take My Mother*Please tours. Anne
has been leading individuals and groups to The City of Light for over ten
years. Her passion for Paris (42 visits, so far!) and for showing people a wonderful time there inspires this very special trip.
Enjoy adventures in great food, art, fashion, and fun - with scheduled time for rest & relaxation each day. Sleep in deluxe accommodations at a charming boutique hotel ideally located one block from the River Seine. Discover places you've always
dreamed of seeing, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, plus a
world of unexpected delights as expert guides introduce you to some of Paris's
hidden secrets.

David Lebovitz & Anne
Indulge. On an exclusive "chocolate walk" led by chef David Lebovitz, author of The Great Book of Chocolate, we'll visit a variety of fine chocolate boutiques and have our own private tasting of some of the most delectable confections on the planet. David's personal knowledge and
acquaintance with Paris's best chocolatiers guarantees a very sweet excursion!
Explore the great museums. In September the season's dazzling new exhibitions premiere.
On visits to the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay we'll see these and countless
other world-renowned works of art, such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus De Milo, and
Monet's "Waterlillies".
Let the shopping begin!
Shop. The Paris designers' "new
collections" have just arrived! We'll go to a runway fashion show in the
classic Printemps department store, then browse discounted designer boutiques, and
renowned gourmet food emporia around the Pl. Madeleine. The Left Bank has
antique shops and art galleries galore, the Ile St. Louis offers estate jewelry,
handcrafted toys, and fabrics imported from Kashmir. You'll see.

Flea Market Treasure
Eat. We'll feast on traditional French "comfort food" in a lively brasserie
serving hungry Parisians since 1886, nibble duck a l'orange in a bistro used
as headquarters for the secret underground of the French Resistance during
WWII, indulge in high tea at the original Marriage Freres shop/tea museum where
waiters in white linen suits graciously attend us, dine atop the tallest
building in Europe with the Eiffel Tower and the glittering city at our feet.

Bon Appetit! Rest. The trip is designed to restore you, and time for some TLC is built
into each day. Some nights we'll have an evening activity, other nights will be
free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Of course, Paris offers an array of
cultural events that may tempt you to stay up late! We'll suggest many optional
activities you may want to schedule on an "off night" such as, a candlelit
chamber music concert in the oldest church in Paris, cool jazz in the Latin
Quarter, an evening at the Moulin Rouge...
Return. Our mission is to send you home full of wonderful memories, yummy
food, perhaps a few gifts for yourself and your loved ones, and with your spirits
renewed!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Wellness Community-West Los Angeles, the founding chapter of what is now an international non profit organization providing amazing FREE support services to people affected by cancer and their families.
